We are a regional personal watercraft racing promoter based out of Texas.  At TXH2ORacing, we foster an environment that is safe, family friendly, and drama free.

TXH2ORacing was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team, Tim and Marisa Hutchison and brothers, Heath and Hunter Hoekstra.  The Hutchisons and Hoekstras used the years from 2015 to 2017 to build up the region 5 racing promotions under the IJSBA sanctioning body.  We had wonderful growth and were able to grow the region via new race venues and livestreaming to our facebook page.  In 2017, Marisa Hutchison was accepted into a prestigious Executive MBA in Energy program at Oklahoma University, therefore, the decision was made to sell TXH2ORacing and hand it over to a new promoter.  Shaun Compton had been racing with TXH2ORacing through all the years and was a beloved personality that we felt would carry on our established legacy of being safe, family friendly, and drama free.  Shaun took over and changed to promotions under ProWatercross and executed a busy race schedule for 2018 and had an exciting schedule planned for 2019, including races in both Texas and Florida.  It is with deep sorrow we heard of Shaun's unexpected and abrupt passing on March 1, 2019.  Shaun was doing what he loved, finalizing setup for the inaugural race of the 2019 season in Florida, when a major heart attack cut short his tenure on this earth.  It isn't well known that the Hutchisons and Hoekstras had such faith in Shaun's vision that we financed his purchase of TXH2ORacing.  Since the financing agreement allowed for the return of TXH2ORacing back to the original founders in case of default or other extenuating circumstance, the Hutchisons have now taken back the ownership of TXH2ORacing and released the Compton family from any further obligations so the family can grieve and do what they need to do to reformulate their lives without Shaun.  The Compton family has our deepest sympathies and understanding during this difficult transition.
